Attainment

Educational Excellence and Individual Growth

At the heart of our curriculum lies a profound belief in children — not just in what they can achieve, but in who they can become. When a school truly sees its pupils, honours their individuality, and nurtures their curiosity, something extraordinary happens: children rise to the highest and deepest levels of attainment, not through pressure, but through purpose.

Our pupils’ achievements are consistently described by inspectors as exceptional. Though we welcome all children into our Kindergarten without academic selection, by the time they leave us, they are performing on average at the 85th centile in national assessments of ability. This is not a coincidence — it is the result of a culture that values both rigour and joy, both challenge and compassion.

Our academic outcomes speak for themselves. Each year, our sixty leavers are offered around 30 scholarships to the country’s most prestigious senior schools, a testament to their intellectual ambition and the strength of our teaching. And tellingly, up to one-third of our alumni go on to gain places at Oxford or Cambridge — a proportion that exceeds even the most academically selective schools. These children do not simply succeed while they are with us; they continue to thrive, long after they have left our shores.

But we believe that education is far more than a ladder of results. True excellence lies not only in what a child knows, but in how they live. A childhood spent in school should be a journey of becoming — of discovering one’s voice, values, and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the world. Our deeper purpose is to guide children towards becoming their fullest, happiest, and kindest selves: confident learners, compassionate friends, and thoughtful citizens.

We champion whole-child development, where emotional intelligence, creativity, and character are nurtured alongside academic achievement. In every lesson, every performance, every moment of reflection, we invite our pupils to ask not just “How can I succeed?” but “Who am I becoming?”

This is the legacy we are proud to build: not just a record of results, but a community of young people who know how to live richly, think independently, and lead with heart.

Our children’s achievement is described by inspectors as ‘exceptional’.
