A total of twelve teams arrived, full of enthusiasm and ready to put their knowledge to the test. The competition was fierce from the outset, with participants tackling challenging and engaging questions on topics from Maths to Art and Sports to Crisp Flavours, that kept everyone on their toes. To keep energy levels high, the BB Pizza van was on hand throughout the night, serving delicious, freshly made pizzas that proved to be a big hit among guests.

Our Lent term event has always been an opportunity for parents and staff to come together and have a lovely evening out after the winter doldrums. This year's Quiz Night, back by popular demand, was no exception, with entertaining questions, friendly competition, hot pizza and good company. The PA are proud to be able to bring our community together and raise money for our chosen charities.

As the evening drew to a close, the excitement reached its peak. After eight intense rounds, two teams found themselves tied at the top of the leaderboard. A tie-breaker round followed, but remarkably, both teams achieved full marks once again. With no clear winner, each team selected a champion to take to the stage for a final, light-hearted decider: a game of rock, paper, scissors. In a dramatic and entertaining finish, the reigning 2025 champions, “One of Us Really Is a Rocket Scientist,” successfully defended their title and proudly claimed the 2026 trophy.

The event was a tremendous success, bringing together the community for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and generosity. Most importantly, the Parents’ Association raised over £1,000, an achievement they are immensely proud of. The funds will go towards supporting their chosen charities, Cultivating Change and the St John’s College School Bursary Endowment Fund, making a meaningful difference beyond the evening itself.
