School Uniform

The SchoolBlazer website shows the uniform options for each year group. We are also listing them below for your convenience.

  • All children should wear a plain dark blue or black coat to school when the weather requires a coat. The Saint John’s College School coat is currently still available from SchoolBlazer if you choose.

  • All children should wear plain black school shoes. No trainers or boots.

  • Blazers are no longer part of KG-T2 uniform but they are compulsory from Form 1 to Form 6.

  • All children have the choice of a red or grey v neck jumper or a red cardigan. These items must be purchased from SchoolBlazer or from our second-hand uniform shop, as they have the inlaid stripe.

  • We are introducing black cycling shorts as an option to be worn underneath any of the dresses or skirts, allowing unrestricted play whilst maintaining uniformity.

  • No other non-uniform items are to be worn. This includes the mixing of uniform items intended for other year groups or sport lessons.

For practical and safety reasons, we ask that children with hair shoulder-length or longer wear it tied back in bunches, plaits or a ‘pony-tail’. Discrete hair ties or small scunchies to be worn should be plain black, plain red or plain brown. Hair bands must be of material - not plastic.

The wearing of make-up or nail varnish is not permitted.

Earrings should be small sleeper like studs.

Please see below for explanations and examples for each year group.
